May 16th
May
13th (Los Angeles, CA) - By TC Lai
On the heels of this year's Electronic Entertainment
Expo, a pair of UCLA student groups plan to continue the video game
magic by bringing members of the industry to share their experiences
with UCLA students as part of a Video Games Industry panel on Tuesday
May 16th. Speakers include professionals from Electronic Arts, Naughty
Dog, High Impact Games, and Arts Institute.
Enigma, a UCLA-based science-fiction and fantasy gaming group and the
UCLA Animation Students Organization, the graduate student arm of the
Animation Workshop, a program at the UCLA School of Theater, Film &
Television, organized the event as a way of bringing alumni back to
UCLA to help educate prosepctive artists, programmers, animators, and
designers about the different career choices in the modern
multi-billion dollar video games industry. The panel starts at 7:30pm
in Franz Hall 1260 on the UCLA campus and is open to the public. This

gaming group, won 4 out of 5 nominated categories tonight at the first
